Engaging the Best

team

Our search process is designed to identify and make available the most qualified candidates for a client's specific requirements. Shulman Associates' unique expertise in identifying top talent comes from years of interviewing thousands of candidates coupled with first-hand knowledge of a broad candidate base in corporate and marketing communications.

Every candidate and hiring manager has priorities. Our job, in part, involves extracting those priorities from both the client companies and candidates and ultimately bringing them together.

Finding the candidates is the easy part for us: we know who and where the talent is, we've been speaking with these professionals for decades and we meet new candidates every week. It's really about which of the candidates is ready for a move professionally and personally. For whom does the move make sense given the timing and the position's parameters? What is the candidate's personal and professional disposition at the time?

“Because executive search firms generally specialize in one or a handful of functions across several industries, their knowledge of where to find the best candidates is often worth the price of admission. In our firm, for example, because we have placed executives and mid-level managers in the vast array of communications functions– from Chief Communications Officer, to corporate marketing officers and other related positions across many industries–we know what makes for a successful candidate in these functions and, more importantly, where to find the existing and up-and-coming talent. By specializing, executive recruiting firms guarantee their clients the depth required in their dedicated fields to be able to find the best candidates to fill any position.”
