Barry Shulman

Barry Shulman founded Shulman Associates Executive Search in 1990 in San Francisco. Prior to establishing his own firm he was vice president with The Goldman Group, at the time one of the country's leading communication executive search firms headquartered in New York City.

His background represents two decades of retained executive search experience. He also serves as management consultant for corporate and agency clients on a wide variety of issues including recruitment, structural management, retention, succession, job definition and resource management. He speaks frequently at industry functions and contributes to various trade and business publications on issues pertaining to corporate marketing communications, recruitment and resource management. He is available to address high-level groups on issues and trends affecting careers in brand management, strategy and executive searches, functions of public relations, and the role of integrated brand management and corporate strategies.

Barry is also a trained life coach and offers short-track career coaching for individuals who are committed to making significant changes in their careers and lives.

A graduate of Temple University with a BS in sociology and psychology, Barry has studied and led seminars on holistic and hands-on healing with practitioners on both coasts.

Barry resides with his family in suburban San Francisco.
